ALTO‑PLEX is a non dangerous goods, biodegradable, surfactant focused alkaline detergent formulated for poultry shed cleaning. It is a stable foaming alkaline cleaner designed to rapidly remove protein, fat, and carbohydrate soils from shed surfaces.

ALTO‑PLEX is used as part of the wet cleaning stage in poultry shed decontamination programs. Effective wet cleaning is critical, as the presence of organic matter significantly reduces the effectiveness of sanitising and disinfecting agents applied later in the process.

The foaming formulation provides prolonged contact time, allowing active ingredients to penetrate, solubilise, and hold soils in solution for effective rinsing. Correct foam consistency ensures the detergent remains active on surfaces for extended periods, improving overall cleaning efficiency.

Application

ALTO‑PLEX is used during the wet cleaning stage of poultry shed decontamination after dry cleaning has been completed.

Apply as a foam detergent to thoroughly cleaned surfaces to remove organic soils. Correct air, water, and chemical ratios are essential to achieve a foam that remains on surfaces for at least 15 minutes.

In hot conditions, monitor surfaces carefully and adjust contact time to prevent the detergent from drying before rinsing. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning.

Dilute ALTO‑PLEX at ratios between 1:40 and 1:80 depending on soil loading, cleaning frequency, and cleaning effectiveness.
