BASSO‑PLEX is a non dangerous goods, biodegradable, surfactant focused citric and citrate based acidic detergent formulated for poultry shed cleaning. It is a stable foaming acid cleaner designed to rapidly break down mineral deposits commonly formed from hard water, feed residues, and droppings.
BASSO‑PLEX is used as part of the wet cleaning stage in poultry shed decontamination programs where an acidic cleaner is required. Acidic cleaning is critical for removing mineral scale that regular detergents cannot dissolve, resulting in surfaces that are easier and more effective to sanitise.
The foaming formulation provides extended contact time, allowing active ingredients to penetrate and solubilise soils before rinsing. Proper foam consistency ensures the product remains active on surfaces for up to 15 minutes, improving cleaning efficiency when applied correctly.

Application
BASSO‑PLEX is used during the wet cleaning stage of poultry shed decontamination after dry cleaning has been completed.
Apply as a foam detergent to thoroughly cleaned surfaces to remove inorganic and remaining organic soils. Correct air, water, and chemical ratios are critical to achieve a foam that remains on surfaces for at least 15 minutes.
Adjust contact time to prevent drying, particularly in high ambient temperatures, and rinse thoroughly before the detergent dries on the surface.
Dilute BASSO‑PLEX at ratios between 1:40 and 1:80 depending on soil loading, cleaning frequency, and overall cleaning effectiveness.
