Summer, resorts, beach, spa… bacterial infection?!

Spending an hour or two soaking in a spa bath is truly one of life’s greatest gifts. Everyone loves a hot-tub.
But were you aware that the plumbing systems, jets, and fixtures that all work together to make your spa bath the enjoyable experience it is harbour unseen deposits of oily grime, micro-organisms, dead skin, body fat and hair?
If you’re enjoying a spa in a hotel, resort, or otherwise quasi-public place, it’s an unpleasant (to say the least) thought to imagine just whose oily grime, micro-organisms, dead skin, body fat and hair you’re bathing in.
These deposits stay in the pipes becoming a home for dangerous bacteria. Bacteria that could make you very unwell.

Even well-maintained spas need regular cleaning and sanitising.
Even well-maintained spas need regular cleaning and sanitising.
Castle Chemicals has developed a formula to not only arbitrarily clean your spa, but to remove these nasty soils and sanitise the spa, plumbing and fixtures.
Sani Spa Clean is a clear blue, highly specialised formula designed to be added to the rinse cycle of the cleaning process.
Following manual cleaning of your spa bath, fill spa to minimum working level, covering all jets /
nozzles etc. Add Sani Spa Clean neat, at a concentration of 40-60ml per 100L of water in the spa. (It is important to consider the spa pump and pipework water volume, an easy estimate is to add 10% of spa bath volume for pump and associated pipework.)
