PERFORM+ (5%) is a powerful liquid sanitiser formulated from a stabilised blend of peracetic acid and hydrogen peroxide. It is used cold and provides broad-spectrum activity against aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, including spore-forming bacteria, as well as fungi, yeasts, algae and viruses.

PERFORM+ (5%) solutions are colourless, non-staining, free-rinsing and virtually odourless at use concentrations. The product decomposes to form water, oxygen and acetic acid, which is readily biodegradable.

Application

PERFORM+ (5%) is suitable for final sanitation of cleaned surfaces in food processing environments and can be used in no-rinse procedures. It is suitable for fresh-cut and processed fruit and vegetables and for sanitising food contact surfaces including kettles, conveyors, fillers, blanchers, slicers, eviscerating tables, mincers, ovens, tanks, boning tables, syrup pans and mixers.

The non-foaming formulation makes PERFORM+ (5%) suitable for CIP sanitation in dairy, food processing, water treatment and cooling plants, laundries, animal health laboratories, soft drink manufacturing, wineries and brewing industries. It can also be used for sanitation in animal houses, including breeder boxes, incubators, feeders, drinking water supply lines and other surfaces.

PERFORM+ (5%) should be applied to adequately pre-cleaned surfaces. Typical use concentrations range from 0.15–6% v/v, with contact times of 10–30 minutes. Solutions should be used within one hour of dilution and should not be reused.
