ENVIROCIP MSA is a concentrated, low-foaming acid cleaner designed for Clean-in-Place (CIP) applications. It effectively removes mineral scale, milkstone, beerstone, organic residues and other inorganic deposits from process equipment and surfaces.
The phosphate, nitrate and sulphate-free formulation combines methanesulfonic acid (MSA), lactic acid and formic acid with ATMP chelating technology to deliver effective acid cleaning and metal-ion sequestration.
ENVIROCIP MSA is suitable for CIP cleaning in the food, beverage, dairy, brewery and winery industries.

Application
Recommended for routine or periodic acid CIP cleaning of dairy processing equipment, milk tanks and silos, pasteurisers, heat exchangers, milk and beverage pipelines, filling equipment, brewery fermentation vessels, bright beer tanks, beer transfer lines, winery tanks, filtration equipment and other compatible food-processing equipment.
Directions for Use:
Apply through a conventional CIP circulation system.
- Pre-rinse: Rinse equipment with potable water until substantially free of product residues and gross soil.
- Acid CIP: Circulate at 0.5–3.0% v/v. A typical starting concentration is 1.0–2.0% v/v, at 50–80°C for 10–30 minutes.
- Final rinse: Drain the solution and rinse thoroughly with potable water until acid residues are removed and the required final rinse specification is achieved.
Concentration, temperature and contact time should be validated for the individual installation and cleaning requirements.
