Product Description

DUPLEX is an acidic detergent biocide developed using a new generation of biocidal active ingredients. It is designed to remove wine films and other organic soils while disinfecting stainless steel and other surfaces used in wine and food preparation areas.

DUPLEX is formulated to high performance standards to ensure fast and effective removal of films and proteins. It uses food grade citric acid combined with powerful surfactants and chelating agents to deliver effective cleaning from food safe compatible ingredients. All raw materials are non tainting, and DUPLEX can be used as an alternative to chlorine based systems.

The low foaming formulation reduces rinsing time, prevents equipment clogging, and avoids pump cavitation, providing labour and time savings. DUPLEX contains the low toxicological biocide PHMB (Polyhexamethylene Biguanide Hydrochloride), which is effective against many organisms found in food and wine processing environments.

Application

DUPLEX is designed for use within a CIP cleaning system.

Dilute DUPLEX at between 0.5% and 1.5% depending on soil level, using cold mains water at 20°C to 30°C. Mix briefly in the pre clean tank, then pump or spray through the system for 5 to 10 minutes to loosen and remove soils.

Persistent soils may require agitation, higher concentration, or longer contact time. Do not mix with chemicals not specified on the product label.
